Saw Mandolorian and Grogu this morning with the wife. We bought the VIP tickets at the theater, and had the whole place to ourselves. Super nice place, and we got free popcorn and soda to boot. As for the movie, I think I liked it overall. It seemed to lean heavily into the sort of spaghetti western aesthetics that they were trying to go for with the tv show, but with a modern twist. The whole movie felt very atmospheric but had plenty of fun action sequences. The soundtrack was interesting. They used the same soundtrack from the tv show, but mixed in some more electronic elements for different parts of the movie. At first, I thought it was a little strange but the more I thought about it and listened to it, I thought it really highlighted some parts. I wouldn’t say the movie was mind blowing in anyway, but I’d probably give it a solid 7 out
