I first got into post-rock sometime between 1999 and 2000—I’ve been listening to the genre ever since. Post-rock is also a genre that I sort of stumbled on my own without the help or influence of anyone, and gradually grew into it more.
The following playlist spans between some earlier works of artists, between 96 and 03. These all have some significance to me
Slow Riot for New Zero Kanada - Godspeed You! Black Emperor (1999)
Of all the post-rock artists out there, GYBE is probably the most well known of them having achieved infamy at such an early stage. They are a collective of about 10 musicians, all from Canada.
