Just saw Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and it was pretty fantastic, although I must admit that it started off a little…flat. That is, the dialogue between everyone that happened during the opening scene when they were fighting the monster was a little forced, and even cardboard. I can’t really place any examples of the dialogue, but I’m sure you know what I mean.
Now, one thing I think Marvel is doing well overall, that DC isn’t, is how cohesive all of their movies and tv properties have become; even if they aren’t part of the same universes. DC has tanked their movies time and time again, while Marvel’s movies just continue to flourish. Additionally, Marvel is doing well to create a microcosm of shows on Netflix. Why doesn’t DC jump on this?
Anyways, I’ve heard nothing but great things about Wonder Woman, so I’m really looking forward to seeing it in June.
