Cleaned up my website over the weekend. Overhauled the CSS, and included some media queries. There’s probably a few odds and ends that I need to tweak, but it’s mostly there. Also, I exported all of my old posts from my Wordpress blog, and converted them to Jekyll. That took some time to go through and remove bits that I don’t want to keep, and update the tags. Then, I moved everything from withonlyamap.com to terribledevice.com.
I’ve decided that terribledevice.com is going to be geared toward all of my favorite, music, movies, comics, and games; whereas, withonlyamap will be geared to a global look at all of my projects and endeavors. More to come on that soon, but in the meantime, I’m also creating a subdomain under terribledevice called “Mod94.” This is something that I’ve been thinking about for sometime, but finally decided to do something about it.
To offer some background, Mod94 will incorporate my love for mod trackers, mod music, and 8-bit/ascii/ansi art. When I was 14 (I was 14 in 1994, so it only made sense to name it Mod94), I got into mod trackers which opened up the door to music making and art since then. So, this will be a labor of love, but I hope to bring light on this wonderful past time.
Music-wise, I saw that Oval had a deal for the weekend. Most albums were name your price, so I scooped up all the albums that I used to own a physical copy of, and then some new ones. The album below wasn’t one that was NYP, but I felt that it’s probably my most favorite—or atleast, the first one I ever listened to. Check it out:
