Day two

I’m only calling this one “Day two” because I can’t really think of anything else descriptive enough. But it’s really another day in a series of long days that have been happening for the past week. Basically, I wake up, get myself ready, and get my son ready. I take him to school, get myself to work, and then work all day. Then I sit in traffic, come home, eat and try to relax. My son goes nuts, calms down, and then we read. By then, it’s 9 and it’s time to put the kid to bed. Tomorrow I’ll wake up and repeat the whole process over again.

I’m not saying all of this because I hate it; no, I really enjoy my family time. Work takes a huge chunk of that time out of my day, and that part is really trying at times. It’s trying because I’m working but I’m not quite in the position I want to be. One day I’ll get there, so it’s just one day at a time until then. There’s some interesting things for me on the horizon for now, and it’s really pushing me forward…so that’s good. We’ll see what the future holds for me, but until then, I’m going to wrap this up and go to bed.
