I started a new site using Jekyll. The plan is to write about topics that I’m currently learning on my own, find interesting, or something that I’ve created. I’m still working out the details, but in the meantime…
Speaking of things that I created. Today, we celebrated my son’s second birthday. My son is obssessed with robots, so naturally we had a robot themed birthday; as you can see in the image below. He loves them so much, and he calls robots, “bebots.”
One day when he’s old enough, I plan on teaching him how to build robots and computers. In the meantime, I bought a couple of Arduino boards and started digging into Johnny Five, a Javascript programming framework for interacting with hobby boards. I’m not going to lie, though, the fact that it’s named after the robot in Short Circuit is a selling factor for me. :)
